The 12th issue of Origin Magazine brings together 20 powerful women leaders, over 100 yogis changing the world, the top vegetarian athletes, and more! This is by far my favorite publication, ever! Fusing together art, culture, conscious lifestyle, and the movers and shakers of our time, Origin Magazine serves as the world megaphone of advocacy and awareness from the ground up.
So much gratitude for Origin editor, Maranda Pleasant, who gave me the space to share what I believe is important in this life.
To be among women that I admire so deeply is incredibly empowering! This connection of women leaders holds such abundance and great spirit.

I’m so thrilled to be a part of the Yoga Pearl team for this years Yogathon; a campaign to raise funds for Living Yoga, a nonprofit outreach organization teaching yoga as a tool for personal change in prisons, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, transitional facilities, and to populations who would otherwise not have access to it.
Join me in support this amazing cause by joining a Yogathon team. No time to join a team? You can totally give love by donating to help me reach my goal 🙂

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you really love.” ~Rumi ♥
This week I have spent many hours silently observing the stronger pull of what I really love; Yoga and the connection it makes to the Community through Outreach. As soon as YogaGrow became real, my mind filled with all the connections I could make to grow this movement within my neighborhood and beyond.
So already I am in the midst of the wonderful, amazing, shifting sands of upcoming YogaGrow partnerships. Next month I will have the pleasure of being interviewed by The Goddess Film Project; a pair of female filmmakers traveling through the landscapes of America, exploring the many ways in which women are realizing their potential, overcoming their fears, and propelling our world into a new state of consciousness 🙂 I am beyond excited to be a part of their journey of discovery!!
I also have the pleasure of working as an affiliate of Pranafest next month, an open-heart gathering of prayer and celebration, offering kirtan, yoga, workshops, sacred ceremonies, healing, and deep communal connection in Jackson Wellsprings Ashland! This will be such an amazing chance to reach out the Portland community and connect with yogis. I can’t wait to delve into cavassing festival information and meeting with local organizations.
Soon after Pranafest I will be working with the always brilliant Robert Sturman, a nationally recognized yoga photographer. YogaGrow will be helping to organize yogis in the Portland community for photo projects throughout the enchanted forests’ and rivers that cradle the city. I am so looking forward to the opportunity of working with such a creative artist in my home city.
Gratitude all day!
